A beautiful antique Shirvan carpet, hand woven in the Caucasus mountains of south-east Azerbaidjan circa 1910 with a geometrical design of stylised flowers and birds on a rich red field and ivory border. Fabulous wool quality and great secondary colours.

This rug is in good overall condition with very light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
