A fabulous antique horse cover, woven on the plains of Tibet in the early 20th Century. The design features stylised clouds on an indigo field surrounded by a distinctive key border. This rug would have been used to decorate a horse for special occasions.

This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Edges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned. Some very small, faint marks to blue fabric centre strip (see photos).
