Vintage Turkish Kayseri Silk Rug 1.65m x 1.16m
A fabulous vintage silk rug, hand woven in Kayseri, central Turkey circa 1960 with an allover shield design in soft pastel tones. Very finely woven in silk on a cotton foundation.
Size: 1.65m x 1.16m (5ft 5in x 3ft 10in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, slightly heavier in a couple of small areas (see photos). The fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.

I mention things like wear, what the fringes and edges look like and any issues like repairs, usually with photos. Occasionally, I may miss something (like a small well done repair). If you notice something and this bothers you, please feel free to send it back to me for a full refund.
