An exceptional antique Malayer rug, handwoven circa 1900 with a linked boteh medallion on a deep indigo Herati design field and particularly attractive pistachio green border. This rug is in outstanding condition with a very fine weave, fabulous wool quality and great colours.

This rug is in excellent condition with good pile and minimal wear. Fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
