A pretty Malayer runner, handwoven circa 1900 with an all over Herati design on a deep indigo field and ivory border. It has been signed and dated (Haj Arsen Ali, 1310 - equivalent to 1893) in the border along with some interesting birds and animals!

This rug is in good condition with medium, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
