A lovely vintage Soffreh kilim, handwoven circa 1980 with a traditional zigzag design on a red field. Soffrehs were originally woven as tribal floor coverings, often used at mealtimes - a bit like a nomadic picnic blanket!

Size: 1.20m x 1.17m (3ft 11in x 3ft 10in)

This kilim is in very good condition with minimal wear. Fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
