A lovely antique tribal rug, woven by the Afshar tribe circa 1900. The design features a large indigo medallion on a soft red field of stylised flowers surrounded by an interesting camel border. Some even wear adds to the antique look.

This rug has medium, age related wear consistently throughout. The fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
