A beautiful silk Turkish rug, hand woven in Hereke (approximately 60 kms south-east from Istanbul) circa 1980s with a traditional ‘Mihrab’ design on an ivory field. Very finely woven with 11x11 knots per cm on a silk foundation highlighted with metal thread.

Size: 1.25m x 0.75m (4ft 1in x 2ft 6in)

This rug is in good condition with minimal wear. The fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
