A beautiful little antique Kazak rug, handwoven in the Caucasus mountains of modern day Azerbaijan circa 1900. It features a wonderfully wonky geometrical design on an indigo field with lovely natural variation (or Abrash, if you prefer!). Fabulous colours and highly collectible.
Size: 1.91m x 1.06m (6ft 3in x 3ft 6in)
This rug is in good condition with moderate age-related wear, slightly heavier in places (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
